Construction staking

We lay out project designs on the ground through construction staking and survey control, ensuring that structures, foundations and installations are correctly located and built. We support every phase of construction, adapting to the schedule and needs of each jobsite.

Piles driven to staked positions at the Jobos solar PV plant, Puerto Rico

On a utility-scale solar or BESS project, staking sets the pace for the whole site: piles, trackers, foundations, roads and trenches all start from a stake. Our survey crews join your jobsite, work directly from your design files and stake daily to the schedule set by your site superintendent.

We set up and maintain the survey control network, check what has been built and record it as the work progresses. Deviations are caught early, and closeout as-built documentation is ready when you need it.

  • Pile and tracker staking from the design files.
  • Staking of foundations, BESS pads, roads and trenches.
  • Daily staking coordinated with the site superintendent.
  • Verification and recording of completed work.

How we work

  1. 01

    Request

Share the project location, schedule and design files you have.

  2. 02

    Proposal

We define crew size, duration and scope, and send you a cost proposal.

  3. 03

    Mobilization

Our crew joins your site, sets up survey control and checks the design data.

  4. 04

    Staking and as-built

Daily staking, checks of completed work and closeout as-built documentation.

FAQ

How long can the crew stay on site?

As long as the project needs, from one-time campaigns to the entire construction phase. We rotate crews to keep the pace.

Do you work with the EPC's files?

Yes. We import your design files directly and return the staked data in the same format.

Do you stake piles for single-axis trackers?

Yes. We stake pile and tracker positions from the design files and check positions and elevations as the work progresses.

Can you provide as-built data for installed piles?

Yes. We record the position and elevation of installed piles and deliver the as-built data in the formats agreed with your team.
