Who we are
Baco Surveying grew out of the shared experience of a team of professionals specializing in surveying for renewable energy projects.
Since 2019, our team has taken part in the construction of solar PV plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Spain, Portugal and Puerto Rico, working alongside EPC firms and contractors.
Our international experience allows us to adapt to different work environments, methodologies and technical requirements. We are now expanding into the United States, starting with Texas.
How we work
We work in close coordination with site teams, adapting to their schedule and to the needs of each project.
Based on the technical documentation and design files, we plan the survey work and provide accurate data in the specified coordinate systems and formats.
We have the equipment and technical resources needed for both one-time assignments and projects that require a continuous on-site presence, combining conventional surveying methods with aerial data capture technologies when project conditions call for it.
Technology and equipment
We work with specialized instruments and tools, selected to suit the needs of each project, to carry out our work accurately and efficiently:
- High-accuracy RTK GNSS receivers.
- Conventional and robotic total stations.
- Digital levels.
- Drones equipped with LiDAR sensors and photogrammetric cameras.
- Specialized software for data processing, terrain modeling and CAD design.
